Machine Features
High-capacity band saw controlled by a two-speed motor driving a reduction unit with hardened bronze gear and aground worm screw.
Appropriately dimensioned flywheels with strong blade guides with tight stress-raiser bearings and adjustable carbide tips.
Blade tension is obtained by electro-mechanical blade tensioner with a microswitch.
Safety switch devices on the flywheel casing, control handle and on the blade.
Cutting thickness 1,2mm
Adjustable stop for cuts of the same size
0,06kW – Coolant pump for blade lubrication
Pedestal with chip collection tray and removable coolant tank
Operation:
Cycle start is obtained by pressing the relevant start button. The machine performs the following operations during the cutting cycle:
- vice closing and activation of blade motor
- cutting bow downstroke
- return of bow to initial position after the cut
- blade motor stop
- vice opening.
