The benchmark Harrison Alpha Lathe range celebrated its 20th anniversary at EMO Milan. It was launched at the same exhibition in 1995, so to mark the occasion 600 UK launched the brand new 3-axis version of the Harrison Alpha range at the show, where distributors and customers alike could see it in action.

The new Alpha XC flat bed CNC combination lathe is fully c-axis equipped and capable of full milling, drilling and tapping functions, reducing the need for second operation production for one-offs and small batch components, whilst retaining the operational simplicity that makes the Alpha range the leading choice worldwide.
“It is 20 years since last visiting EMO Milan and we really didn’t know what to expect, but we were staggered at how busy our stand was during the show. Significant orders were placed for the Harrison Alpha range on the stand, along with orders for Colchester and Harrison centre lathes, Colchester Tornado lathes and Pratt Burnerd Workholding.” Said Mike Berry, 600 UK Managing Director.
