Manual guide i conversational programming system is standard for fully automatic turning. Whilst the machine is operating in Manual Guide i the Alpha’s Fanuc OiTD control is creating a CNC programme in the background this means the conversion from conversational to CNC mode is instant.
The Alpha 1350XS is a compact machine. 650mm between centres. 350mm swing over bed. Utilises the Fanuc OiTD Control coupled with Harrison’s Alpha System. The ‘Alpha System’ is a simple and user friendly teach lathe control, enabling operators to perform semi automatic turning operations. The Alpha 1350XS is particularly suitable for precision turning work in a wide range of applications.
The EziTurn combines all the features of the Harrison Centre Lathes but with powerful automated cycles on a simple, easy to use touchscreen control. The EziTurn is the first stage of automation to help bridge the gap between conventional and CNC Lathes. An ideal machine for any training school facility. The machine covers machining cycles including stops, facing, tapers, threading, grooving, drilling, tapping and constant surface speed control.
The Alpha 1400XS offers an optimum combination of accuracy, capacity and cutting performance. Suited to producing detailed and intricate ‘one-offs’ to the highest standard of finish. 7.5kW main spindle, 400mm swing over bed and 1250mm between centres.
The Alpha 1400XC with full c-axis can be supplied with an 8 station VDI 20 indexing turret or Capto toolpost. This machine gives operators a full range of milling, drilling and tapping functions reducing the need for second operation production for one-offs and small batch components.
The Alpha 1760XS can now be specified with a centre distance from 1500mm upto 6000mm and is fitted with a high powered 18.5kW motor and a 105mm spindle bore with an extra large bore option of 155. Heavy duty lathe that fits neatly between the Alpha 1550XS and the super heavyweight 2800XS allowing the flexibility to turn larger components than usual.
