This Harrison Alpha 400T utilises the work envelope to the popular Colchester Triumph VS2500. With a 400mm swing over the bed, 585mm in the gap and 1250mm between centres. Complex and repetitive parts can be undertaken with easy with the simple, touchscreen control. As with Harrison Alpha used lathes from RK International, this machine is supplied with the offline software for programming the most complex of components with minimal information available.
The Colchester Combi K3 slant bed (30deg) CNC combination lathe makes loading of work components easier along with a better view of the cutting action. The PC FANUC 210iTA control offers a large display and conversational programming. This machine is equipped with an 8 station VDI turret and a good selection of tool holders to suit. This machine is largest within the Alpha range. Capacity between centres of upto 4000mm. Spindle bore of upto 170mm. Manual guide i conversational programming system is standard for fully automatic turning. Whilst the machine is operating in Manual Guide i the Alpha’s Fanuc OiTD control is creating a CNC programme in the background this means the conversion from conversational to CNC mode is instant.
The Alpha 1350XS is a compact machine. 650mm between centres. 350mm swing over bed. Utilises the Fanuc OiTD Control coupled with Harrison’s Alpha System. The ‘Alpha System’ is a simple and user friendly teach lathe control, enabling operators to perform semi automatic turning operations. The Alpha 1350XS is particularly suitable for precision turning work in a wide range of applications.

This 1998 Harrison Alpha 460 Plus offers a large turning capacity with a compact 1000mm between centres. A Parat toolpost along with a number of tool holders allows the tooling to repeat accurately. As with all RK International supplied Harrison Alphas, the offline software is supplied to allow more complex programing.
